Version 5 started on 3 July. Until then a plain import of the package gave the runtime types for compatibility dates before 3 November 2021, and anything newer meant picking a dated entrypoint such as /2023-07-01 or /latest. Version 5 drops the dated entrypoints and makes the plain import the latest runtime, which took the package from 27 files and 12.7 MB to 6 files and 2.2 MB. The README now recommends generating types with wrangler types instead, and says this package will keep publishing on the same schedule.
