Leptos 0.9.0-rc0 went up on crates.io on 15 October 2026, five months after the first 0.9 alpha. Its notes say most apps should move from 0.8 without changes, then flag the one most likely to bite: some trait implementations on signals changed, so passing a Signal where a closure is expected may now need a dereference.
The 0.8 line went from alpha to 0.8.0 in seven weeks in spring 2025 and has had 21 patches on crates.io since, three of them during the 0.9 prerelease. The 0.9 alpha and beta notes both say a full changelog has not been written yet and point to a single pull request instead.
As of 24 October 2026. 0.9.0-rc0 notes. 0.8.18 was tagged on GitHub and never published to crates.io.
