# Wrangler release history: a twice-weekly train on a beta engine

Every Wrangler release since 2024 from npm on a weekday timetable, the Tuesday and Thursday trains, the end of Wrangler 3, and the Miniflare 5 prereleases that every Wrangler since July has shipped on.

## Where it stands (2026-10-24)

Wrangler 4.152.0 went out on 22 October 2026 with remote Hyperdrive bindings in local development and a jurisdiction setting for Workflows. It is the 153rd minor version of Wrangler 4 in the 19 months since 4.0.0, and the releases run to a timetable: in 2026, 80 of 123 went out on a Tuesday or a Thursday (UTC).

Every release since 4.117.0 on 31 July, 48 of them, pins an alpha or beta of Miniflare 5, the local simulator behind wrangler dev. Miniflare 5 renames its persistence options and moves the local test endpoints under /cdn-cgi/local/. On npm, the latest tag for miniflare still points at 4.20260730.0, so a project that installs Miniflare directly next to the current Wrangler gets a different major than the one Wrangler runs.
