# Loco release history: 0.2 to 1.2 on one line

Every Loco release since January 2024 from crates.io, drawn as a rail line with one station per minor version, the nine-month tunnel before 1.0, and what the 1.2 notes say about freshly generated apps.

## Where it stands (2026-10-24)

Loco 1.0.0 reached crates.io on 29 July 2026, ten days after SeaORM 2.0, and the move to SeaORM 2.0 is its headline change. It came 13 months after 0.16.0, with four 0.16 patches in between. Before that pause Loco had gone from 0.2 to 0.16 in 17 months. 1.1 and 1.2 followed in August and September.

The 1.2.0 post on 24 September lists what a freshly generated app had been getting wrong. The server-side starter answered 404 at /, the SPA starter had no sign-up page, scaffolded create and delete routes answered GET, and the generated model test asserted nothing. The same release writes a skill for coding agents into every new app, and the post links a write-up titled "The eval kept finding bugs in Loco".
