# Go release history: two lines patched in lockstep

Every Go release since 2024 from go.dev, a matrix of which packages got security fixes on each 2026 release day, and the support window that keeps two major versions patched.

## Where it stands (2026-10-24)

Go 1.27.3 and 1.26.10 came out on 19 October 2026 with a security fix to crypto/x509, eleven days after 1.27.2 and 1.26.9 fixed the go command and five standard library packages. Go patches the two newest major versions and ships both on the same day, so 1.25 got its last update, 1.25.14, on 19 August, the day 1.27.0 was released.

In 2026 the Go team has shipped point releases on 12 days, and 10 of them carried security fixes. crypto/tls and the go command each show up on six of those days, html/template on five, crypto/x509 and os on four. The only bug-fix-only days were 19 August and 1 September, either side of the 1.27.0 release.
